- Introduction
- `What is the name of the title today?
- Do you believe Jesus holds everything up?
- Imagine that I have an egg in my hand. There’s a little chick ready to hatch. Fly! Be free! I throw the egg up in the air. Ok that was a hard-boiled egg.
- We proved Jesus doesn’t hold everything up.
- Is Jesus God? Isaiah 9:6: For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
- Hebrews 1:6: And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
- Exodus 20:3: Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
- Putting this all together, why does Hebrews 1:6 prove Jesus is God? Hebrews 1:6: And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
- God tells every angel to worship Jesus. If Jesus isn’t God, then God the Father is telling all of the angels to sin!
- Romans 5:19: 9 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
- When Adam sinned, all were guilty of sin. When Jesus died on the cross, many could be made righteous.
- Colossians 1:15-17: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
- Does Jesus Hold Everything Together?
- Let’s look at the word “consist”. Thinking of a cherry pie (because Krys doesn’t like apple pie). What does “all” mean Cindy?
- A cherry pie consists of all that is in a cherry pie. The verb consist of, means made up of.
- Jesus knows what when where and how and what it consists of.
- Someone tells you I want to believe in Jesus. “Please show me that Jesus who died on the cross can hold everything together.”
- Isaiah 44:24: Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
- Jesus knows what he created, and what it consists of. Therefore Jesus holds everything together. How can you show someone why you believe Jesus holds everything together?
- Let’s look at something that holds something together. If you want a cheap counter top, use a particle board stick the plastic laminate using Urithane. Where does the word laminate come from? Laminate means layer upon layer with an adhesive that holds everything together.
.
- A Genetic Clue that Leads to the Cross.
- If you could show someone how Jesus holds everything together, did Jesus leave us a clue meant for today to lead someone to Jesus?
- Romans 1:20-21: For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
- Professor Hennester if you say his name fast, Hennester, and slow it down Hen-nester, he may have come from a long line of chicken farmers.
- Professor Hennester is known worldwide fort his 30 publications. Once he found the molecule laminin, the protein that holds together most of the tissues in the human body.
- He has spent many years researching laminin. This is what Laminin looks like. One molecule of protein laminin Show slide 1
- Soldiers of crosses. Show slide 2
- Protein of laminin attaching itself to a cell which is attached to your muscle. Slide 3.
- These crosses race through your body holding tissue together.
- 1st Corinthians 6:19: What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
- I don’t want to get too involved. I’ll show you how laminin can lead someone to Jesus at the end of the message.
- Genesis 1:14: And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
- Just reading over this verse, you miss a lot. Jesus holds everything together. He had to find the distance earth had to be from the sun.
- Not too hot and not too cold. Jesus had to spin the earth to get 24 hours in a day. This allowed signs for seasons days and years.
- Jesus needed to find the speed of earth to complete one round trip around the sun and back. Also the gravity pull of the sun and moon. Jesus holds everything together.
Networking in the Bible
-
- Who was the first one in the bible to do networking?
- Genesis 1:26: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
- The first clue – have you ever seen kinetic sand? Kinetic sand is fun to play with because whatever you make with it comes alive!
- Like a volcano you can imagine just the lava coming right out of that volcano down the sides. If you make a snowman, it sems to come to life.
- The person that made kinetic sand could say to God, “I can make life out of sand Just like you did.”
- God says, “I can’t help you.” He could say watch me and I’ll show you. God says, “This sand is mine. Create your own sand!!” It’s interesting that matter can’t be created or destroyed by man.
- If you weigh the wood that you burn, the ashes will weigh the same as the wood before you burn it except for the air pockets.
- God didn’t make fishing nets. Listen to my question. Who was the first in the bible to do networking?
- Jesus wrote on Adam’s DNA that could reach to the moon and back what Adam would be like. Now for the network.
- Jesus created 500K of the protein molecule laminin. These little Crosses that would keep Adam’s tissues from falling apart.
- According to Professor Hennester, a mouse compared to the same size as a human, has 10 times more laminin.
- If all this laminin would go to the muscles of a mouse he’d be a super-mouse!
- When you think about it, the great Samson of the bible wasn’t 10 feet tall and body building arms and legs.
- All Jesus would have to do, is give him more laminin to the muscles. We know in the bible it was Samsons hair because he was a true Nazarite.
- Think of it. It could have happened that way. Who knows?
- According to professor Hennester, what molecule cell or any other thing in the body can attach itself to laminin. The answer is nothing.
- Laminin has to attach itself to a cell, muscle, but nothing can attach itself to Laminin. The networking of the protein molecule shaped like a cross gives life to us today.
- Laminin holds tissue together, layer upon layer. Without laminin, tissues like the heart, lungs, liver etc. would just fall apart.
- Laminin holds layer upon layer of your skin together. It’s quite possible that your skin could fall off. There are studies out there that if people have a lack of laminin their tissues seem to just decay.
- The cure for muscular distrophy is producing more laminin in your body. Do you think that Jesus knew when he was making Adam that he’d die on the cross?
- Before the foundation of the world, God had to decide to give free will to man and woman. Or create them like robots. And to say I love you.
- As Jesus was making Adam, he knew those little crosses are what would keep him alive. Because those little crosses keep giving you new life by holding everything together!
- Without those crosses of Laminin in your body there can be no newness of life.
- It seems like Jesus was giving us a clue today where we could see the molecule Laminin.
- Conclusion
- Dan I’m getting ready for you to show the last slide, but not yet. This is what the protein molecule laminin looks like.
- (show slide 4)
- Doctors, nurses, any health professional have to learn how laminin protects the newness of life in our bodies.
- If you ask health professionals what laminin looks like, they’ll say it looks like a T. Most of the time the devil has blinded them from seeing the cross.
- When you ask them to explain how laminin works, through the different chains, it’s impossible to explain it without the cross.
- If Jesus shows you and you see the cross, repent of your sins to Jesus. He’s calling you. Enter the Kingdom of God.
- If you would like to answer that call, or renew your commitment to Jesus Christ, we will now lead you in the Sinner’s Prayer.
